This annual compensation survey covers the unique niche of assistants to senior executives in America's largest corporations. Data breakouts include: company size, industry, and region (including metro areas with the largest major corporate headquarters concentrations). Over the past 18 years, over 400 major corporate headquarters have used this survey to determine competitive pay levels of "C-Suite" administrative support.  Participating company revenues range from $1 billion to over $200 billion. Our research focuses on the "elite" of America's executive assistants.  Assistants to other executives below the CEO earn far more (up to 50%) in our survey, compared to "executive assistants" in general office-support surveys where minimum company size is not restricted.

About the President
Rodney Cottrell, MSHRM, BSBA, CEBS, CCP, CMS, SPHR; Fellow IFEBP. With experience gained in leadership positions at major multi-national and Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Cottrell has led or managed compensation for firms with over 25,000 employees, multiple SBU’s and operating in 14 countries around the globe. Rodney has been involved in acquisitions, mergers, and other complex compensation transactions at the Board level to the production floor. Concentrating in compensation issues, Rodney is considered an expert in the areas of executive pay, sales compensation, incentive plans, employee compensation and compensation technology.  He provides international compensation consulting to clients in multiple industries across the United States and is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at colleges and corporate events. 
 
Rodney is a Fellow with the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, an adjunct professor of management at La Roche College, an instructor for the HRCI certification program and the CEBS program offered through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School.  Mr. Cottrell is a graduate of the La Roche College Master of Science In Human Resource Management program with a specialty concentration in Strategic Management and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Psychology. Rodney holds the following professional certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Compensation Management Specialist (CMS), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
